Need Teamspeak? Show us your support!
Date: February 11, 2006
We are offering other guilds a private channel on our Teamspeak server. The service is free for everyone. All we ask for is that users of our
Teamspeak server to support it by clicking on the our ads. You can find the ad on our welcome page at SykoKillers.com.
To apply for a channel introduce yourself on the forums and answer the following questions: - What is your guild's name?
- Does your guild have a site? What's the URL for it?
- What time zone does your guild play in?
- How many members does your guild have?
- Who is the guild leader and what is his GW nickname?
Please take your time in writting up a formal request. You will be PMed on the forums if you qualify. About The News Delay
We're working on a new site that will feature dynamic content and allow staff to easily update and maintain pages. This also means that a new host is needed to run the site.
Once again we are relying on the support of the ads to make this possible. Thank you for your support! Work on the new site has been going on for a few weeks now and is nearly complete.
To preview what a section of the site will look like, see here.

Merry Christmas at Guild Wars
Date: December 22, 2005
Major cities of Guild Wars have been decorated for Christmas! Giant presents, christmas trees, melted snowmen and plenty more to see and do are scattered around the place. Guild Wars's long awaited Observer mode is also here! To watch others battling in the Tombs or Guild Battleing, just go to the Tomb Of Prevailing Kings and open the observe window (default key: B).
Along with this Christmas update is two new quests that can be started from Old Nickoles at Lion's Arch, standing neat the guild registrar. He gives you two quests with some fun rewards. The following list shows the locations of where you need to find each item for the quests.
A Very Grentchie Wintersday:
The Greatest Snowman Ever Made:
- Speak to Scappy Jhim near the docks of Lion's Arch
- Speak to Vanguard Kyle at Ascalon City for coal. He is north of Warmaster Tydus, up the stairs and to your left.
- Speak to King Jalis at Droknor for the pipe. He is located south of the storage.
- Speak to Magi Malaquire in Lion's Arch for the magic hat
- And finally return to Scappy for the last part of the quest.
The quests both reward the player with 5000 experience and clean Xmas themed itemed such as the Gingerbread Focus and Pepperment Sheild. The shields give +10 to armor and focuses give +5 energy. Don't forget to collect stuff for treats from the Christmas Collectors. The Winter Gifts also gave a chance to receive a candy shard for trading in for candy cane styled weapons in cities. Candy Shards are about as rare as blue or purple items and randomly drop, no matter what you're killing.
From all of us here at Syko Killers, we wish you a merry Christmas ^_^. Get your ass off Guild Wars for a moment and buy your loved ones some gifts! (Also stay tuned for our second Free Ale Party after Xmas!)

Stay tuned for the next free ale party!
Date: October 20, 2005
Sorry this is kinda old news now but I had to post it anyway. I finally found the time to post those screenshots of our ale party when can be seen on the screenshots page.
The Syko Killers' Ale party was a huge sucess! We passed out, I think, over 1000 Ales to the people! Many gold weapons, scrolls, and major runes were given in prizes! It was a ton of fun partying with you guys and we had a blast. We were a little worried at first that the GW community had lost its beta weekend spirit, but you guys proved us wrong. Even before 7pm hit people were yelling for ale at the fountain! In no time, this international district, usually quite quiet was filled with Ale lovers! There was alot of fooling around, joking, dancing, and ale!
Remeber if you missed out on the Ale Party this time.. we said that it was the first Ale party, that means there will be more parties inthe future! Just keep your eyes open on your favorite GW forums or at our site ( http://www.sykokillers.com ) for the next event! We might just be giving away green items next!.. who knows heh.. but there will be Ale for sure. Again I wanna thank everyone that came and everyone that contributed to the event. We made alot of new friends during the party and can't wait to do it again!
